Founder and Director, Equitable Evaluation Initiative
Jara Dean-Coffey has partnered with clients and colleagues over 25 years to elevate their understanding of the relationship among values, context, strategy and evaluation, and practices, leading organizations to take action that more fully supports equity. Jara is co-author of Raising the Bar: Cultural Competence and Equity—Equitable Evaluation, which led to funding for the two-year Equitable Evaluation Project, in partnership with the Center for Evaluation Innovation and Johnson Center for Philanthropy.
This workshop requires an additional registration fee. While many organizations are applying an equity lens to their work, or have explicitly made equity a part of the mission, few have considered how the grant evaluation process can advance, or upend, the pursuit of equity.
