We often shift from cultivating our own leadership and career growth to focusing on team development, and get caught-up in the “doing” of work. Our session will focus on reigniting the spark for leaders to take a personal career inventory of who they are now as leaders, determine how they want to grow, and practice self-advocacy. There will be a special focus in the session on those who face specific barriers in career growth—people of color, women leaders, parents returning to work or seeking flexibility, and veterans.
Participants will leave with a visual checklist and examples of ways to take a career inventory. Learn about common ways we limit ourselves and our leadership voice, professional branding (including LinkedIn must-haves), networking strategies, and advice on how to approach career growth from a place of strength, not scarcity.
