Assessing the financial health of applicants and grantees is a critical part of the lifecycle of a grant. However, without clear guidelines, foundations run the risk of over-collecting information and becoming overwhelmed.
In this interactive session, a director of grants management will share their journey designing a due diligence process tied to their organizational values while still obtaining the financial information needed. Participants will learn to evaluate their current processes, consider the concepts of partnership between grants managers and program staff, and understand how to use the financial due diligence process for assessment, capacity building, and monitoring.
